Tea brewing is an art that
is simple to perform and essential for a flavorful cup of tea.
Start with a preheated pot
or cup so that water doesn’t drop below perfect brewing temperature.
Fill your teapot or cup with very hot water and let stand until it is
heated.
Use cold, fresh water from the
tap or bottle. Never use water from a hot water tap. Let the tap water
run for a few seconds until quite cold; this ensures that the water is
full of oxygen which releases the full flavor of the tea leaves. Fill
the tea kettle.
Bring the water to a boil. Do
not let it boil too long as it will boil away the flavor releasing oxygen
and result in a flat tasting tea. Pour boiling water on tea leaves or
tea bag.
Brew 3-5 minutes.
