Tea is, after water, the worlds
most widely consumed beverage, but it was first used as a medicine by
the Chinese long before it became a popular drink. Modern research is
confirming that the ancient Chinese wisdom has a bearing on contemporary
health concerns including cancer and heart disease.
“Recent research studies reveals the antioxidants in tea may inhibit
the growth of cancer cells, support dental health, increase bone density
and strengthen cardiovascular health” stated Jeffrey Blumberg, PH.D.,
Human Research Center on Aging at Tufts University.
